Hmm, I forgot to mention that the TEAC ones are preferable, but I will take anything at this point. Thanks!
Why don't you get a pair of those Reel Cleer tapes from ebay... I know lots of people here picked some up when they were really plentiful last year.
They're a hellova lot cheaper than the Teacs and look just as good in a boombox. Granted, the Teac tapes sound better, but they're not as much of a slouch as you'd think they are. Plus, with the savings you can buy some other top quality type II's or type IV's to record on and get lots more for your money.
Just my 2cents...

Well, I would do this but I had a beef with eBay and PayPal. PayPal finally decided to see things my way, but eBay didn't.
That being said, I do not have eBay access at this time, and I don't know if I will be getting it back. This is why I buy all my stuff from hamfests, flea markets, and I even bought a blaster here, and plan on buying another one on Thursday or Friday if its still available...
Aside from the eBay issues, I am very impulsive with money as I am Bipolar/ADHD. That had something to do with this..

HOLY jeez, 79$ for ONE unopened blank reel cassette? I had no idea they were THAT much...
Nice metals JT! Tempting.
I "need" a reel cassette too. However, I'd like to get silver reels. I've seen the gold but not silver at a reasonable price.
