After watching the above video - made me try to remember what was the first Stereo Amplifier i ever had bought 'New' and that was this, the;

Pioneer SA-7800

Well it took a while to search for - this was my First Stereo Amplifier bought overseas

While serving in the US ARMY in Germany Back in 1978 at the Conn Kaserne I bought the ( Pioneer SA-7800 silverface no wood blue meters) - with a ( Sansui SC-1330 cassette deck - sliver face ) later sold just the Pioneer integrated amp, then upgraded to the ( JVC reciever 120 wpc w/intergrated 5-band equalizer ) and a Sansui SC-1330 cassette deck.

My Speaker's that i had over there were some Sansui big cabinets with 15 or 18 inch woofers - dont remember just which model from back then, maybe i have a picture of that setup...

Also Purchased back then cause we couldnt play this too loud except maybe on the weekends a pair of Pioneer Monitor-10 headphones of which i still have to this day. and then while searching about that I discovered the barrack's I stayed in at: Conn Kasern Schweinfurt, and then searching google maps - welll that brough back a flood of memories - now I gotta go and see if I can find the "few" pictures I took while over there... http://armykaserne.com/us/conn-barracks-schweinfurt/
