What Cars do you guys drive?

davelc2 - 2008-08-01 00:13

So I hear that ZX14 will take a Hayabusa without a sweat aye? Looks like your bike is real comfy for the long haul.

Dave

skippy1969 - 2008-08-01 13:21

Thanks Dave! My Valkyrie is pretty comfortable.I had a 2003 Honda GL1800,but I did'nt like the shock preload adjustment several other things about it so I traded it in on the Valkyrie. It is more my style and I had a Valkyrie standard before so I knew what to expect. I just love them! Big Grin Nod Yes Yes that ZX-14 is a ripper! It is a very nice sport/tourer too. My buddy is pretty conservative and takes it easy. He said he has only had it up to about 130mph. He said it rides so nice at high speeds it felt like he was going about 75mph. Wink Big Grin

That's a neat looking car. The style totally reminds me of a BMW 2002 Smile

Dave

thafuzz - 2008-08-20 12:41

You're right Dave. That's the best looking LADA I've seen. The LADAs I've seen in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan were certainly not that well kept. I like those scooters. Especially the one on the right side. Cool

viennasound - 2008-08-24 12:04

Thank you for enjoying! Cool
Please notice:
This Lada was built 1996!
In russia it will be sold till today!

The scooter on the right is a Vespa PX125elestart
The left is a Innocenti Lambretta 125special
In the middle a KTM Ponny, built in Austria

I have an Oldtimer in the Garage as well.

AMC Eagle 4WD Station Wagon
Littlebit customized, good condition
Here on an US-Car Festival near Vienna:

fatdog - 2008-08-24 12:23

I guess living in the United States makes it seem a little surreal to me to hear of a U.S. Car Festival. Smile I'd like to have that Camaro convertible!

Lucky duck! I'd live anywhere in New Zealand. If I could actually live anywhere it would probably be Lake Taupo because it reminds me a lot of Lake Tahoe, has a Santa Cruz/Capitola feel, they have awesome Kababs and there's a race track. What more could one ask for?

No 1/4 mile times, as of yet. I've owned it for a little over a year now.

Only have got the mods and conservative tune done on it.

johnnygto - 2008-12-06 12:45

It has a Eaton supercharger on it. It has been my dream car since they came out in 2003 and only made them for 2 years (ended in 2004).

There 477 red ones made in 2004 Smile

Thanks Fuzz

thafuzz - 2008-12-06 12:48

I owned a 1974 "Mercury" Capri in 1987. Many people think Capris were Ford badged only. Had the black Louvered rear window, Cragar SS wheels and "4 on the floor" Big Grin

thafuzz - 2008-12-06 12:51

I'd love to hear it revving if you get around to youtubing a quick clip bro. Wink "If the sound of horsepower don't excite you, you have no pulse"

johnnygto - 2008-12-06 12:55

Hey THAFUZZ, I like Capris, they made one in the early eighties that looked like a muscle bound mustang.. I love those!

I'll have to let it get warmer here (like 20 degress outside) before the vid. But I'll take a pic of the engine so you can see what they shoehorn in these things Big Grin

It's crazy!

Johnny

thafuzz - 2008-12-06 12:59

Sweet! So it's cold where you're at too I see. It's been in the low 20s here for weeks and actually had 1"-2" of snow befor Halloween. Here's the Dyno on the ZZcrate 502 planned.

thafuzz - 2008-12-06 13:03

I'm currently running ceramic Hooker Headers with 4" collectors - into 2 1/5 exhaust with custom 2 chamber mufflers. No cats or smog pumps Nod Yes Huge CAM with high rise intake manifold and Hurst shifter.

As light as your ride is in the rear, you've def. got enough HP& TQ for your HP TO weight ratio. I've heard one years ago with either the Bassani or Borla exhaust. VERY throaty aggressive sound. The guy was revving it at a gas station which echoed under the covered roof. MAN! Cool

enskanker - 2008-12-07 08:39

My ride, she likes to guzzle some gas and intimidate blue hairs..but here she is...my baby in the NC mountains where she belongs, under those Blue Ridge Mountain skies.

- 2008-12-07 11:16

Wow, some sweet cars in this thread!

This is my favorite car that i own. It's a RARE 1994 E34 Hartge H5 V8 5 speed. It has low mileage and is in mint mint condition...and it's quick Big Grin

Here's my little beast. The interior looks like crap at the moment. The driver's seat covering is coming apart, the door panels are bulging, and the headliner is really starting to sag in several places.

davelc2 - 2008-12-07 15:49

Here's what I used to drive...

And here's my project car for the past 5yrs. I wish it still looked like this. It spent some time outside.

DAMN! You had a GNX!!!!!????!!!!??? :eek I hope to find one one day even if the turbo is shot. (Unfortunately a lot of these ended up in hand of people who have, let's say, cooked em'.)

- 2008-12-07 16:17

Fatdog, your E34 looks great Big Grin

DaveLC2, the Grand national is one of my all time favorite cars...i love them, the El Camino is also nice. It reminds me of my first car that i bought, a 1981 Malibu only the El Camino has a "pick up truck" box in the back...amazing! Wink

Here's another pic of my other summer car that i transformed, it's a 1987 BMW E30 325i inline 6 totally customized still with it's original paint in MINT condition...sitting on 19" wheels.

I wish I had a GNX Big Grin Being that 547 were ever made I would have done everything in my power to hang on to it. The first was an 87 GN and the second was an 86 Regal T-type (factory GN drivetrain) which was stolen and recovered totalled. Now the 86 T-type's complete drivetrain is in my 85 El Camino Cool My plan was to have GN power without anyone knowning what was in it due to the high theft rate here in the Bay Area.
