I was not aware of this model. Does it have the same 2.3L engine as the SVO Mustang and the T-Bird Turbo Coupe? I almost bought a white 85.5 SVO back in 1994. It was only $5,000 but the clutch started to slip real bad when I was getting on to the freeway. The test drive was real funny because the pitch of the turbo before they're warmed up all the way is more pronounced and the sales guy was looking for the cops when it began to spool. I told him not to worry and that it was just the turbo
Neat car man!

thanks guys. Its hard to come up with new ideas to do to these cars that hasn't been done yet..... it was either this or make a limo!
You seriously must turn heads! I thought it was a photoshopped pic at first glance. Great work man!
Dave
just adding my ride to the post
Subaru Legacy GTB Jap import 2.0lt 4wd 300bhp 0-60 6 sec's - corners like on rails - pulls like a train with a load - cops don't see many around here, so it gets away with not standing out till it needs to
done a few mods since pic's taken
Those are nice. I saw some of those at the used car dealers while visiting in New Zealand. Does yours have the McIntosh sound system? I have some cell phone pics of a wagon just like that I sat in over there.
Dave
Now that I am home from work here's the one that I checked out in New Zealand. I am not really into wagons but it this one caught my eye. I really like the way they look.

mine has a bad bad system - jap double din that is broke
cd only play all the way through or nothing and there's a tape stuck in the deck
no radio ! - do have the burble of the classic subaru engine noise to keep me going
need to sort it out - but it can wait
the wagons are cool as there like the old surf wagons back in the 60's/70's - you can get every thing in there and still corner well like on rails - there fast and will fit loads of boomboxs or bmx's in the back
nice leggy in the pic - with a silver GT-B and a sti type R ? scooby behind

wow, that's a 2 door. Nice James. Is 66 your year of birth? It's amazing that you haven't been tempted to "pimp it out", very clean, original Caddy. What's that thing get, like 1 mpg
Heck yeah! James I love your 66 brother. I guessed the year correctly before looking it up. 5,000 Lbs of Detroit steel
Sweet!
I'm with you on Public Transportation Asdexander!!! Growing up in NYC, taking the Bus, Subway, or Taxi was a way of life!!!
But I must say, the Swedish Rail System is a lot lovlier than our dirty Subways!!! I don't even see any Graffitti sprayed on the cars!!!
I'm jealous.

That's the perfect era for US cars, post fins & chrome & pre eighties boxy plastic. I'm guessing 71. Very Streets of San Francisco.

Are you a fan of "Gone in 60 Seconds"?
These stoned kids had a white 65 Coupe de Ville.
On of the funniest scenes in the movie.
...reminds me of a fine movie...
Autoreverser, is that a '75 or a '76 Caddy? Reminds me of my Prom Days. Aaah, I can see it now: "POLYESTER, BELL BOTTOMED PANTS, PLATFORM SHOES, BIG GIANT BUTTERFLY BOW TIE, A RUFFLED SHIRT, MY GIANT MICHAEL JACKSON AFRO, AND DISCO MUSIC BLASTING IN THE BACKGROUND"!!!
Those were the Good Ol' Days..........

Cheers, shame its only a 400cc tho.. but anything bigger around Tokyo/Yokohama is kinda pointless. I had a Kawasaki ZX12R when I 1st got here and whilst I had no problem getting around, there was nowhere to open it up unless I rode for about 2 hours out of Yokohama. Summer time in the city was a b!tch too... the bike would get so hot it would nearly burn my legs... sigh... I still miss that bike tho
Here's an updated shot of the Elky taken by yours truly
Dave
Volvo 480 Turbo
nice car. my brother got one of those as well...
Thanks autoreverser! Can you show me some pictures of that car?
...i'll dig some out - his one isn't a turbo,
it's one of those limited edition-ones from 1995 with all extras...
b.t.w. i drive a 2005 V70 d5 (2.4, 185 hp)
Yeah, Volvos are cool. (Unfortunately Volvo is owned by a chinese company now...) I also like Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Saab and Hondas...
Wow I have NEVER seen that Volvo before.
Dave
Thx. I really adore that car... If you are interested:
"...the car had excellent handling, due in no small part to its Lotus-designed suspension, and a series of reliable Renault engines, tuned by Porsche. It was also Volvo's first front wheel drive model."

That is a Dutch volvo
not far made fro here, an uncle of mine did work there!

Yes, it was made in Netherlands, but all the development and basically the car were designed in Sweden.
(Anyway, I love Holland!!! I was there last summer... One of the most amazing places in the world, especially Amsterdam and Delft!
) /Sorry for the OFF./

I dont have a car because using a bike and public transportation in Berlin is much cheaper and in most cases faster, too.
However if I have to transport heavy things I use a friends car. A mid 90s Toyota Corolla. He had the station wagon before and now got the small version. These are great cars for the city.
In winter the most annoying thing about using cars in the city is, that you have to remove all ice and snow first. We have lots of snow this winter.
This guy seems to have his own technique:
*click* =)
I drive my parents turquoise Peugeot 207 SW diesel, it's an economical, dependable little car with some neat features like a glass top, but I'm an american car buff. Besides the usual '60s muscle cars and '50s finned cars I especially like big personal luxury coupes from the '70s like Rivieras, Lincoln Marks, Monte Carlos, etc...
