Riddler, you have my all time favorite game Gyruss, I used to go to all the local arcades, set the high score and than leave, I rolled that game over 3 times and my high score was way over 3,000,000. Do you have a Dragons Lair game? I have the original Laser disc?? from a Dragons Lair game just lying around. My ex-wife's, brothers GF's father ( that was a mouth full, lol), used to repair video games and gave it to me.

im.out.of.hear - 2009-05-02 23:52

I love that arcade room, looks exellent,if i had a room like that,i`de be in there all the time..also looks relaxing with the low lighting..I Like it Alot..

fatdog - 2009-05-03 08:53

Riddler, that gameroom kicks total ass!! Lot's of cool games too! Thanks for sharing with us. Cool

PS - I would pick Maine over Maryland any day. Wink

jvc.floyd - 2009-05-03 10:30

riddler where in md do you live ? i also live in md maybe we could have a s2go meet ?

masterblaster84 - 2009-05-03 11:18

Riddler I'm jealous, that game room just took me back big time. Must be an incredible rush to be able to spend time in that room. Cool

riddler - 2009-05-03 16:25

Thanks guys, it was well worth the time it took to build (4 years), and what it cost to do. If you read the about me section on there you'll understand the reasoning behind it. It truly is a time warp, most of the time I just go down there fire everything up and travel back through time.

ahardb0dy - Yup I love Gyruss but I'm not that great at it, I can get to earth but then it gets really tough (For me anyway). I don't have a Dragon's Lair, it was on the list and still is but now I'm into this Boombox thing so it may be a while Wink

gettoman - Actually I only turn everything on a couple times a month, part of growing up was only being able to go to the Arcade once or twice a month since I lived in Rural Maine. Plus it keeps them in good working order.

jvc floyd - I'm over on the Eastern Shore, I think an s2g meet would be awesome. We'll have to set that up later on in the summer, Boomboxes, Game Room, Cook Out, the WORKS Smile If we could get a bunch of s2g folks to come out we could take some KILLER pics with a stack of boxes in the game room.

Fatdog - Glad to hear there is another Maine fan out there, I can't wait to go back....

MasterBlaster84 - It is, but honestly the best part is other people's reactions in person. When you can see the look on a person's face and realize they are thinking back 25 years to a great time in History it really makes it all worth while.

Thanks again guys, back on topic I've really enjoyed reading all these profiles and has been my favorite thread so far. Who's Next!!!
