Man that's some terrible, terrible news. I was just listing to Derek B 2 nights ago on vinyl. Mr Magic was the shiat...and will be missed

I already knew about Mr. Magic, but Derek B...
"Rock The Beat" is a classic! I bought the 12" back in 1987. It's still one of my favorite tracks from that year! In 1988, I bought that dope-ass "Bullet From A Gun" LP and the remix he did for Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock's "It Takes Two", which was/is better than the original, in my opinion! Also can't forget the remix he did for Eric B.& Rakim's "Paid In Full"!
That dude had mad talent!

And in mine! The Derek B 'Tuff Audio' mix is absolutely slamming, I'll have to dig that out.
I haven't heard it in awhile so I'll be doing the same later!
