I work for a printing company and drive a clamp truck and haul paper rolls.
I would show a picture, but we can't have cameras or camera phones at work due to our customers strict privacy rules.

I am a guitarist and more often a guitar technician, looking after members of big bands who tour live, going round the world setting up and maintaining their gear and doing all the guitar changes etc for stage . I have looked after :

I'm head of product management for the search engine Ask Jeeves (Ask.com in the US). Struggling to keep our head's above water in a market where Google have 80% market share but still a very profitable business..... I'm told.
I´m a product designer. The last 3 years I worked as a freelancer for computer games developers where I created 3D environments for roleplay games.
It became pretty boring doing all this Middle Age/Fantasy stuff so I left the company to do more real products again.
Last thing I did was a design competition for a bike-sharing-system in copenhagen. Wish me luck that they like it. I will invest the price money in boombox technology
technican at the local railroad company.
Making service manuals, timetables and more.
Also driving historic wagons for events.
Primarily, I'm a PC engineer; upgrades, repairs, new systems built. Currently straining under the workload, due to the good rep we've built up. But can't complain of course.
Also, part-time DJ, both at venues and on radio.
I’m an IT systems administrator.

Nice to know someone else is in to this music I got over 500 plus vinyl of mostly old school house music, disco, funk, and ETC, I use to scratch and blend vinyl when I was younger, using now using two Technics SL-1210MK5 Pro Turntable that you have in your avatar with a Pioneer DJM-800 mixer with built in Sampling, Effects proccessor with a couple of Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3, I don't do this professionally as much anymore get a couple of gigs from time to time, just don't have time anymore. Now a days hard to find a good dj with good music, most just play music, or use those cd controllers, which is ok for a third deck, but people use it as there primary decks, and don't really scratch or can even beatmatch good anymore.
me's costumer engineer for cctv, specialized in pan/tilt and rail-cameras (for commercial use mainly) and eas (tagging-systems).
doing that since 15 years +, turned it into my own business 2 month ago.
also running a little record-label releasing vinyl only and beat the tubs in a strangenoiserock-band (check link in my signature...)
I am supposed to be a Tech Author for a digital imaging company - at least that's what my contract says.
However, I've been spending all year doing support for photo web sites such as tescophoto.com & asda-photo.com.
Consider the size of Tesco in the UK, & then consider this: If you place an order on tescophoto & bugger-up the payment, you'll get an email asking you to call a number. It's me on the end of that line & no-one else, for the whole damn UK. In the run-up to Christmas it's absolute hell. If I didn't need this job I'd walk out today. But with a family of 6, I've got to bring in shed-loads of money...
Well, never mind. It could be raining.
Ah, there goes the phone again...
Some great positions here! Mine's a bit more mundane I'm afraid. I'm an Oracle Database Administrator.
Customer Assistance Representative for Bank Of America in Newark, NJ.

trc.............you have my deepest sympathy....but i suppose at least your workin when 1000`s are not......chin up kid, youll get there in the end
Dayum...Think maybe you all should change that grease yet??
Arby's Corporate doesn't give two cobys about the customers
We change them out once a week-7-12 days between changes
Not good at all. I will lose my job if I try to give customers what they pay for
Oood places like bars or busy resturants change the oil on a daily basis
They sure change that oil every 5 days if it busy, change the oil at lease every 2-3 days, hopfully they filter that out a couple times a day?
To even go pass a week is unthinkable, no wonder the frys are so brown and taste like cr#p!
yep, I am the opener/maintenance dude.I am the only one who boils the friers out and filters. I filter twice a day
But I agree, they need changed. at least every 3 days IMO because they are running at least 18 hours per day at full temp of 350*F
brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-28 00:10
i have a geology degree, but till this month i was working (since 2001) in the company, witch is subcontractor of mobile phone network companies. I was engeneer/ head of working group. Or "brigadier", in post-soviet states it's an funny oldschool version of "head of working group", not military term. Loved to travel to very differnt places of Lithuania, to meet very different people. Becouse of today's economical situation all 3 mobile network operators aren't making any bigger development . Now i'm jobless, like all my working crew's guys are.
Also i'm hip-hop and reggae dj. Using vinyl only (got about 300 in my collection). My g-friend is also DJ, she's more into funk and disco. Almost all djs here are using Serato, or Tractor or just CD equipment. "Never say never", but for this stuff i say "NEVER EVER". Also together with my 3 mates we are dj crew/hip-hop events organizers crew. During last 6-7 years we've made gings of : Jeru The Damaja (US), Looptroop Rockers (SWE), Ill Insanity (US), Ugly Duckling (US), Vataga (LV), A-Rühm/DJ Critikal (EST), DJ Prone (UK), DJ First- Rate (UK), DJ Reg (GER), WWO/Morwa/Grammatik (PL), some other foreign artists shows, couple of states's MC battles, state's beatbox battles, lots of shows of many local artists/DJs.
Nothing too exciting i'm afraid....I'm a postman!

You bring boomboxes!
Hello
I'm a designer for print business, worked for the last 20 years at the same company. I create/ed CI's for all kind of departments. Since 3 years I'm out of business and have a new job: "housewife" and "dad" for our 2 girls (3 & 1 year old).
I always loved boomboxes, but had other hobbies (rally sport, driving and drifting with a Ford Escort MK2, youngtimer class) ... but I don't have the time (and money) any more. So I remember my old passion.
My first bought - a Grundig Party Center 2000 hifi - blowed me away, because it sounded almost good as my Bose home stereo. And then the fire started again ...
Since this time a bought/exchanged so many bboxes, just to find out which is the best sounding one - and that's what I'm after: the best sounding units ...
Best wishes
TOM

iv,e done everything from fork lift driver to roofing, my last job was manufacturing double glaze units.
iv,e been out of work a while now with a bout of depression
i am a full time dad at the mo with 3 kids to raise, my boy of 5 yrs, and my 2 daughters aged 3 yrs and 1 yr.
my girlfriend works nights so i am very busy looking after our kids. my kids and my boxes keep me sane in this insane world
when im not on my pc or busy wiyh kids i do a bit of drawing in my spare time, as it relaxes me and i am a good artist (brag brag) the only thing im real good at.
i should have pursuid it as a career maybe i would have been loaded now
i must admit though looking after and being here for my kids is more rewarding than any job iv,e ever done, and harder work, and believe me i have done some bone cracking jobs in my time.
Well well well forgot to mention i was an junk/antique dealer, before i retired.
Did the Army for 2 years then Hod carrying and other labouring jobs on building sites for a while.
Looking after 3 young kids is a real credit to you.
We had 2 and i know how hard that was a times especially in the teenage years. AAHHHHHHH!!
Sorry to hear about the depression. Anychance of posting some paintings?

same here lav,i have anxiety and panic disorder, had it bad since i was a kid,i went years without saying nothing to no one,i did a bit of work here and there but nothing big,i was doing furniture deliveries for B&M Home Stores up until a couple of years ago,but now i'm on medication and have'nt worked since..
ye depression anxiety, it,s a killer G,MAN
i know too many people who suffer with this now, some of them hard grafting decent people who for some reason just come out of work and hit rock bottom.
a lot of it is circumstantial i know, but some people get it and just don,t know why.
i think this rat race of a world does'nt help where your made to feel like nothing if you have nothing.
people need to chill and get back in touch with reality, or find our souls again so to speak.
i think this modern materialistic world has drove poeople to the brink of self destruction.
sometimes mate i get so low i could end it there an then, but i fight on everyday cos i love my kids they are my universe.
and i like my boxes i think they play a big part in my sanity, and having you guys to chat with is great too.
anyway sorry for gettin deep guys and for going off topic, smile
