penge - 2010-06-13 07:04

This was the first rapper i got into.
There's a Clue it' on the 2nd CD, first one banned in Australia, due to one track, but a few copies sneaked in.

"They did everything they could do to take us out."

toocool4 - 2010-06-13 07:41

lav loo
It's sounded so familiar I’m sure I have it, I going to did it out and play it.

I think it’s Adeva and I thanks you.

Yes just played it and it is Adeva Laugh Out Loud

Not sure on yours Penge, anymore clues?

penge - 2010-06-13 08:22

Came out just before NWA (i Think)

toocool4 - 2010-06-13 08:48

Are you saying it’s from a single rapper or a group?

I’m only guessing here if it were a group then I would say Public Enemy? A single rapper then maybe Ice Cube?

no idea on the track name.

lav.loo - 2010-06-13 12:31

ye it is adeva with the brilliant i thank you Wink
not sure about yours penge No No

2steppa - 2010-06-13 13:11

Not familiar with that lyric that Penge posted. But I also would sway toward Public Enemy given that kind of lyrical style.

I've got several of their early albums on LP so if it's PE I'll probably know it when you say the title.

davebush - 2010-06-13 23:29

is it sheena easten..........9 to 5

penge - 2010-06-14 00:31

It was Born Dead by Ice T.
