That my dad died of lung cancer, times gone soo fast !!
today must be a very sad day for you G,MAN
losing somebody so close must be very very hard to deal with.
my dad was diagnosed with pancreas cancer 16 months ago, after having most of it removed in a 7 hour op he pulled through ok and was out of hospital 2 weeks later.
anyway now he,s quality of life is gone and he feels very ill most of the time, adding to the fact that after the op for pancreas cancer they only give you about 4 to 5 years survival, so he gets very down sometimes.
anyway G,MAN my thoughts are with you today
condolences paul.......
Feelin your pain Paul. It is a few more years for me since I lost my dad to Cancer in July of 96. Words are not enough.

Cheers Guys..Cancer is a terrible thing..
Strange thing about my dad,he had never been to the doctors or hospital in years and years, one day hegot a cough, went to the doctors, they sent him for tests,Bang..lung cancer..there was nothing they could do,he was dead within a couple of weeks..
that,s crazy G,MAN, it must of come as a massive shock to everyone concerned...very sad indeed, i think cancer has affected most families at some time or another
i tell you when my little lad was 3 weeks he had a small op at manchester pendlebury hospital as it was called a few years back, and i seen children in their with lukemia and i felt so lucky but at the same time i felt sick inside that children should have to endure such pain and suffering, my eyes welled up and i shed a few quiet tears that night at my lads bedside thinking of all the children suffering all over the world with this terrible disease

yeah lav, went to pendlebury hospital with my daughter in 1997,she came home from school, not feeling well, went straight to sleep, got up the next morning, could'nt walk, got the doctor,he said she's got a virus, give her calpol,an hour later she went into a coma, loads of blotches came out,she had meningitis, she was on life support for 3 days..luckily she came through, just lost her hearing abit..
glad to hear she pulled through G,MAN
these doctors don,t know what their doing, they should be struck off

We actually had 2 docs out lav,the first one said she'll be ok,just giver calpol, about 2 hours went by,we tried to wake her,no chance,so we got another doctor out,he knew what to do,gave her 2 injections and got an ambulance straight away..he saved her life..oh and pendlebury hospital were great, they gave us a small apartment on the hospital grounds so we could be close to her, excellent hospital...
Yeh they do their best under tough conditions, glad this one worked out right.
