BEST USB/LAPTOP SOUNDCARD

coolcol - 2010-08-24 05:26

Hi Guys & Dolls,

i know this has nothing to do with walkman but just some advice if anyone has any for me.

What is the best soundcard with line out so i can record onto my tape three head deck from computer as i have large music collection in my external hard drive.

Any advice would be useful as i want to start recording onto tapes (revive my youth or wasted too much time to get quality recordings)

Well this isn't the "BEST" but it will surely do the job for what you want it to do. It replaces and becomes the "default sound device" and you treat it like any other sound card in a computer. It requires NO drivers at all.......completely plug and play

Oh and BTW, I am a design engineer working at the company currently......Wink

PS. No I can not get anyone deals on product.

Hi Coolcol,

You can also take a look at the Musical Fidelity V-Dac. Musical Fidelity make Audiophile dacs / cd players and amps, this is their entry level range, although there's nothing entry level about Audiophile kit. It up samples the digital data to 192Khz before converting it to analogue which improves the sound quality. I've been using Musical Fidelity kit for years and the sound that you can get from your computer is amazing. There are no drivers required and it works like a standard sound card via USB. They also have a matching Headphone amp and Vinyl pre amp.

Well not really a sound card or cheap, if you are looking for high quality then you can look at NuForce Icon
