I'm in Belmont, which is a suburb of Geelong in the state of Victoria in Australia.

Geelong is the second largest city in my state, with Melbourne being the capital and the biggest. My state is roughly the same size area as England.

The below picture of is of the tallest building in my city.

I do believe this speaks volumes.

Great place to live though.

I've been to Geelong. When I worked on U.S. merchant tanker ships we loaded at the Shell Oil Terminal in Geelong for a trip to Antarctica. I took the train to Melbourne. I remember Bourke Street and an area of Melbourne called Hungtingdale or Huntingglen? Anyway, I took the subway there to get a radio part. I LOVED Melbourne. In fact after having been to all 7 continents and Greenland, I say that Melbourne and Buenos Aires, Argentina were my two favorite places. In the states--Savannah, Georgia.

There used to be a well known seafood restaurant halfway between Geelong and Melbourne right on the water. But they say that area has pretty much filled up since I was there in 1988. Oh, and the great time we had at the club called The Wool Exchange in Geelong. Nothing but good memories from that time.
