I will like to check if someone owns a plymouth grand caravan.. or someone that is mechanically inclined.. I;ve a problem with my van and I will like to check more options before repairing it.
We are on our third Grand Caravan. What is the issue? We've had a generation II, III, and currently have a generation IV with the stow & go seating.

Actually no! My wife is the primary driver. I am on my third Dakota. We've never had any problems out of them until they were well over 100,000+ miles (closer to 200,000 miles) at which time they were eventually traded.
I still can't (and won't) find an SUV that matches the room, versatility, or mileage combo you get with these beasts! And my wife has the 215hp engine so it's not a slug either.
well. I recently bought a plymouth grand voyager SE 1993. I got it with 235k it was broken and a friend of mine fixed it for me. anyways. I have had this problem for a while. when driving on a inclined road it spurss like gas or spark is cut off instanly. so what I do is I let the pedal off and then I press it down again and the spurs goes away.. there are times when the spurs is contansly like once every 10 miles sometimes it does it like once every other day. I'm really thinking that the problem is with the fuel pump maybe the fuel pump is clogged at the base..other than that.. this van runs excellent and performs so well. I'm very pleased with it.
also there;s a broken motor mount but not exactly sure if this is causing the faulty SPUR.
sorry to write again.. but I have a grand voyager which should be the same as the grand caravan.
check the fuel filter 1st then the pump
fuel filter was recently changed. pepino.
fuel pump is ready to crap out,if it does shut off and will not fire back up bang on the gas tank and watch it come alive again,or check the fuel pressure with a gauge, the hookup is on the fuel rail,or it could even be the fuel pressure regulator located on the fuel rail..
I have headlight but I prefer not to turn them on during daylight to save the plan
et.
How much fuel is in your tank when this occurs and where are you from? This will help me nail down a few possible things for you.
well AS of right now I just filled 20 dollars worth of gas . About 4.25 gallons.I will be checking is the problem persist at all times of only when the tank is getting lower on supply. that;s a good POINT.
I will keep you informed.
today I drove like 20 miles and I didn;t feel any spur at all..
Hills? Sharp Turns?
I'm guessing that now I have like 3 1/2 gallons.. I will continue checking the performance and see if when the tank is getting low is when the spurring begins. so I will keep you all posted.
is the gas guage working ???
Well I am still with my First Dakota 2001 QC 4x4 4.7L v-8 AWD 42,085 miles i thinks, From the Factory I bought every option except leather seats, sliding window, and the engine block heater, dont need that down here.... oh yeah you can see the bed of the truck with my present avatar of my 2 of 3 Honda Motorcycles

yes the gas gauge is working fine.. But I'm really thinking that the spurrring occurs only when the tank is low. but I will continue to check its performance. today I didn't drive but I will continue driving for sure and keep on checking it.. I will keep you all informed.
today I drove my van again and I think it only had like 1 1/2 gallon.. it started to spur.. I did a 8 miles driving trip and I think it spurred like 4 times. so I put 2o dollars worth of gas and .. I drove for another 2 miles and no spurring.. so I'm really starting to think that the spurring occurs only when it goes below 2 gallons on the tank.
