Today I finally met JT & his wife what a great guy got to see some of his boomers like his M-70L, Sharp 9191, Panasonic 5600, Sanyo and Hitachi not sure of the model. We talked about music & boomboxes, he also showed me his DJ system which is off the chain. He was so impressed with my M-90 and Panasonic RX-DT680 output. He made me some copies from the World Music Conference which is held in miami good House music no doubt. I brought some freestyle for him to download and it was great to meet a member such as JT thanks for the cd's and the Reel tape.
Oh let me not forget he just recently has a new member in his family (Socki) the most adorable ****su dog I want one!!
That's great! I guess Freddie and I need to meet up since he's the closest one to me.

Great to hear, what a way to keep this board close and better than the rest.
We are so spread out that this is really a great thing when it happens, I hope more of us can continue the trend.

Me and the wife are planning two dates...one in Tennessee
and one at some trailer park in Florida
.
Well aren't you lucky!
Sorry Thafuzz, no pics. were taken we were so much into the conversation. When we hook up again defenitely some pics. will be posted.
Really glad to see members are meeting up like this. This is what appeals most to me about our hobby. Not just the sitting at home polishing your trophies, but actually getting out, meeting people and putting radios into action.
Yea, we had a good visit... we shared lots of music, drank some beers and even had a cigarillo. Thanks again for making the drive Juan, next time we'll meet up in Pinellas and we can take some pics to post as well.
So, I finally got to hear an M-90!!! Now I understand what all the fuss is about. What a great sounding box!!! I gotta say that I love my M-70 and thought I was satisfied that was all the box I ever needed, but I will now be on the hunt for an M-90. Gotta do it! LOL! Oh, and not to forget about that Panny DT-680! It sounded quite good as well. It was awesome that you brought both of them.
As Juan mentioned, my wife and I did get a puppy recently. She's a Shih-tsu and her name is Saki... She's 16 weeks old and is an absolutely adorable little furball. And, since Jaun and I were such slackers and didn't shoot any boombox pictures, here's some shots of the new puppy for you instead.
I just love that last picture!
Thanks Juan, I'm diggin' the tunes!
