Not the member on here from way back
but the format..Basically I am looking for a decent 8 track player for my VW Camper Van. It is a 1970 bay Window van originally from Sunny California
I quite fancy an 8 track player for it from around that era, I think it would look pretty cool and make a great change to a Cd's/Cassette player..
I know there a few 'old skool' members on here who may be able to help!

Wow, she looks pretty good! I had a non-camper '70 for a few years. I didn't have enough time to get to all of the projects to fix her up. Good luck with it.
i do like those Fuchs-rims !
have never seen as many VW type 2 busses than in the UK before, not even 20 years ago in Germany !
nice one, MT, good luck for a radio, i do have a defective chromy Grunddig radio in my old Opel, and place a kaboom on the backseat when driving...

Just saw one a few days ago. It was an under dash model. Are you looking for a two post din or under dash?
Manley...I had a great ol' 8-track in my '66 1300cc VW beetle... I think it was a Bowman or Bowmar???
And it had a cool story...for you US football fans of old, it had belonged to Brian Piccolo's Brother, I bought it used.

Just an update... jaredscottfla has sorted me an 8 track and it is on its way to me
That is what I like about this site, as diverse as an 8 track player is there is someone out there on stereo2go that is able to help me with my plight and get one to me! What makes this special is the fact that I am in the UK with a US imported Camper Van and the 8 track player that I am getting is also coming from the US!
Quality stuff all round, and if you are a into cars like I am you will know how cool this is!
