Hi Walkgirl. I just read about Patrick Swayze having pancreatic cancer. That is awful but it sounds like the doctors think that he will be able to fight the cancer. Is he your favorite actor?

Sad news. This is one of the worst cancers to get. I kept hearing that about my old college roommate, whom we affectionately dubbed "Crispy". After about 3 months, the chemo did not change things dramatically, and he was gone by month four. Hate to be negative, but experience tells me that P. Swayze is in for a hell of a battle. Best to him and his family. 'Bout all you can do is fight the good fight. Crispy did. We all miss him.

Hopefully, he'll stay away from the chemo; it does more damage than good. The cancer would explain his outward appearance that had my wife worried that he was on crack. I just watched "Red Dawn" the other day. Still a good movie.
