We had a nice family gathering today in Newark N.J.I took my M70 and Ipod along which is loaded with 80s classics.Never has a Blaster had so much attention.A group of about 12 gathered in the kitchen where my Blaster was and b4 long some were busting into moonwalks. We were all in our 40s and experienced the Era firsthand.Me and my Blaster are invited to whatever gathering comes next
Did I mention NEVER HAS A BLASTER RECEIVED SO MUCH ATTENTION? Even the younger crowd 15-19 were asking where can I get me one of those?
I was playing Planet Patrol.Afrika Bambataa,Rick James,Freeze,yaz,strafe,BBQ,Gino Soccio,Rockers revenge,JellyBean mixes etc....
My m70 made me proud to call it my Son...
This is my son in the Avatar.
Dude thats gotta feel cool
It's cool to relive those wonderful times and to see the new generation being so interested on these radios. People have forgotten the meaning behind a boombox is to have a good time listening to some good tunes.
This is a good story to tell the grand kids, if I remember it.

That's to cool, that's a serious flashback and just what the blasters were for.
Seems there are a lot of stories where the younger generations love these boxes once they see them. Sure does suggest a second coming of the classic boombox would have some footing.
Isn't it funny the way people in general will look at you like your nuts when you talk about old boomboxes but end up slack jawed when they finally hear and see one of the real classics?
