brilliant henry, really great pictures!!
It was always my dream to visit one of the big and crowded cities of the world and Hong Kong is one of these. It must be awesome to live there!!
They are all saved as favourites and them beautiful night-shots made my new desktop!
I remember that you mentioned your cam somewhere, but could you give me a complete name of the set you're using?
It's time for me to buy such a brilliant thing too..Cause it really su**s if you can't take good pictures that can keep the mood of the moment due to low pixels and quality.
Really great pictures - especially the night time. I also would like to know what camera you used!
Kid S.
i'm using Canon Eos 30D with EFS 17-85mm and tokina 10-17mm fisheye
i think the cam body cost around 450usd 2nd hand
remember to get yourself a steady tripod~
hong kong is a brilliant city, but maybe not a cool place to live
Awesome shots, Henry!! And thanks for the bigger versions.
Hey, is that Melting Pot restaurant the one where everything is fondue style?
Great pics henry ,I too share a passion for photography. Heres a couple I took when I was over and saw you , using my little panasonic fx-35 compact :
Really happy with this photo in singapore, 10 mins either side of taking this shot I wouldnt have the sky colour right !
The only thing that lets down this teenie camera is the ISO . over 200 it's noisy !
Royal, AWESOME pics - I also have Panny cameras - they are the best
Hey Ben, I took one of Hong Kong shots and ran it through some pseudo HDR processing. Man, it looks so surreal!!
Wow, great job Bobby. What HDR software was that?
I do think it shows lots of ISO noise though... So I opened it in photoshop and ran an ISO Noise Remover action that I happen to have. Can you see the difference?

Fantastic pics henry, thanks for sharing.
Royal that is an incredible shot with the intense color you captured. In fact these are all great shots.
great pic royal~!!
you've found some great spots to take those pics~~
i hope you took the pic with .RAW format so that you can reduse to noise easier and come with more quality.
henry how are you man? those are nice pics

like I said In my second post henry , fx-35 very noisy over 200 ISO . No .RAW format btw ! its a pocket camera ! ! not a huge digital SLR !
Thats why I rate the fx-35 , $279 brand new from J&R !
To me, there's nothing better than the skyline of a big city - especially at night!
henrytai, do people live up on that mountain? I see buildings and whatnot...
You take excellent pics!
I have to put Hong Kong on the (very) short list of places to visit before I kick the bucket!
Thanks for posting!

10 mega pixels?!?
I have one of these...
it's only 5.1 mega pixels!
I see that I MUST step my camera game up!
Btw, that Singapore shot is incredible!
Thanks for posting!
Fatdog and JT - I think Fatdog's pic looks cooler - more futuristic or something. JT's pic almost looks like a painting after all the noise removal. Really good job though - it almost looks better than the original pic.
Mono - is that H1? I don't think you can find a much better camera than that. Although the new Canon ultrazooms look tempting - especially the one with Hi-def video recording
Hi Henry... Great shots, by the way! I like that fisheye zoom. Very unique lens.
After our PMs a while back, I wanted to let you know I finally got a 5D. Since Canon came out with the 5D MKII, quite a few people are getting rid of their 5Ds and they are basically half price of what they were when new!
I've only had it a couple of days and haven't shot anything to really be proud of yet, but when I have something worth sharing, I'll post some.

It's a few years old tho, and shortly after I bought it, they came out with the H2.
It's a great camera, but kinda outdated by todays standards.
Damn, Henry!! You are an inspiration to me.
I really need to get back in to my photography hobby. I really love the "Lonely Fisherman" picture.
yeah~ you should bobby~!!
dun just stay home and hv fun with your photoshop~~~ :P
i hope you will take some "girlz+bbx" photos for us~~~!!
Hey Henry you have made me excited! I plan to try and spend a couple of days in Hong Kong at Christmas on my way to the Philippines! I just bought a Canon G9, and I love it!
I'm looking for to see you james~!
***Mr. Bobby~~you're BadDog~~~thanks~!!
