I will show you a short look at my favorite places. At the most fleamarkets you won´t find many blasters. Most people want Mini-Stereos and it´s not interesting for the dealers to take them around.
But there are the Waste-Fleamarkets!
One is of the MA48, viennas City-Waste-Collector.
Good looking electronics get´s a second chance.
They were not scrapped soon, first they go to the MA48-Fleamarket.
Storage ca. 2 weeks, then dump
A short look at the area:
An other waste-fleamarket is of the Caritas.
They recycles the things of died people, who had no family.
But the most things are in bad condition, an result of bad transport....
I got some boxes at this places!
Whoa!!
That's like a dream store. I can't find any place around here like that.
If you ever find another "High-Riser" bicycle, let me know!

I stored it in my mind!
A few years ago, i saw many of them - in the metal-trash-container!
Now they are very rare in Austria too.
_______
Most of this things on the pictures won´t find lovers. 90% will go to the dump.
Not very informative link to the waste-fleamarket. They don´t own a homepage for it

Roman those are great looking hunting grounds.
I've never found anything like that in my area but I'm always looking.
Are there no places like that in the USA?
Where goes all the old things?
Directly on the dump?
There are many more (and better) fleamarkets than the posted in austria.
But not in Vienna; in the outer districts...
A new market at the "Vienna Nightwork factory"
But not very intersting
I think I have to hop on my moped and go
there
is only 850 km
@walkgirl: If you come one time to austria, let me know. I´d show you some interesting places.
But not the moped, take the train.
A few years ago, i was in amsterdam.
I remember an big fleamarket i was...
Aaaaaah!
Yesterday i was at the Caritas-Fleamarket.
They had cleaned up their storage.
It looks better than before, but....
Nearly all boomboxes were scrapped!
They only saved the speakers, the box itself it´s worthless, they sayd.
Nothing to say to this.
And here a photo, one of Vienna´s last small electronic stores.
In the 80´s it was a big boombox-seller.
Many Chinawatches and kitchenelectronics too.
Looks like 30 years ago, only the electronics have changed....
