recently -- have won a few beater boxes --so that i would finally have some cool old classics -- that sound GOOD -- to bring to the beach --
however -- now that they are here -- and somewhat working
it does not seem fair to torture these guys at any ocean beach --
no matter what some ebay sellers say :
"the perfect beach box" --
or worse --when all the big OEM brands -- used to show all their 'grails' frolicking around the shorlines in their ads --
they all must have been meaning some fresh water lakeside beaches in tennessee
because --a nice breezy day a real ocean beach --
is often a few gallons of salt water spray --
and a sand storm -- !!!!!!!!!!!!
to the outsides and insides of our old boxes --
what could be worse !!??
so -- the point of this rant is :
there is no such thing as a classic beach box.
period.
any arguments ??

here is a shot at my worst looking box -
our local redneck model is showing its BEST side--with the little duck tape residue --
the other sides have more
still - we wont even take THIS one out there in the brutal environment :
The only one I would suggest is Spotty... or one of those Coby's you've been trying to pawn off on Freddie.
too late -- freddie bought my entire coby line-up
and ol' spotty sounds too good to get get murdered out there !

Coby's would be perfect trashable beach "eggs" except you would no longer be taking a cool classic to the beach.
quite the mind reader there, fatdog --
i was admiring his chick - earlier tonight --and
'wishin i could get a hand on it'
