I never thought the day would come, but, i have had to sell my car. I have been out of rehab 6 months now, and, i expected to be driving by now, no chance. My little citroen has been stood in the garage for 12 months, and i could see it being stood another 12, so, i thought about it, last weekend, and decided to sell it. Someone is coming to pick her up on monday. Damn.
sorry lit --
just assume - that when you get better -
you will find a mint old jag --XK-150
(from the 50s)
ok!!
Ha ha. It would be nice ira. To tell you the truth, i can`t see me driving again. I`m still cheesed off, that i can`t get that m70 tuner board for ya. I haven`t bothered with any boxes at all. Just been listening to old vinyl, i got in the 80`s.
I'm sorry to hear that Lit...
Chin up though,it will work out for you....
richard
PLEASE dont be concerned about any part for any box --none of this sh1t is a big deal -
only health and friends and family is.
(and an XK-150)
Richard,
This too shall pass
all the best as always to you...
Ed
That is terrible Litfan
I am sure one day you will have another one!
Thanks all. The surgeon was saying to my family. I wouldn`t be the same person after the surgery, he was right.
Hey Lit,i feel for ya,i had to sell my bike 18 months ago when i had my legs broke, told i'd never walk again, but here i am limping around.Keep your chin up,the unexpected "can" happen and i hope it will for you
I hope so my friend. i was watching that "kangaroo jack" film yesterday. I was laughing so much, i started crying my eyes out. Weird.
Been their too my friend, still have bad days, just gotta keep sluggin away at life, that way the good days are uplifting and keep you going.Hang in their.
Sorry to hear that, Lit.
I'll bet you've had it up to here with people saying stuff like "it's only a car, only a piece of metal" etc. They're all missing the point. It's what the car represents that you miss...
Anyway, I too hope that you'll be able to exceed your expectations in the future & maybe get back behind the wheel one day.
Well guy`s/gal`s. The car went on monday. The guy who bought it, was absolutely over the moon with it. I`m not surprised. 97 model, citroen C2 VTS, one years use, 8,000 miles on the clock, totally as new. He didn`t even haggle for a deal, gave me the full asking price. It`s the bus/train from now on.
