Hello everybody, just needed a place to vent.

I found a Panasonic RX-7700 in my local classifieds. I emailed the guy an offer. He accepted. Then all of a sudden I don't hear from him in a few hours. Then he comes back to me and says, "sorry I didn't see your response, I sold it to someone for a higher price".

his email saying "ok" to my offer.

I understand taking more money, but don't seal a deal until you've read all your emails for the item. It's just infuriating. The guy I bought the RC-M70 from just went down the list, and first person to come up with the money got it.
Oh well, at least it shows, there's still some "grails" out there
