Been in Brittany, France for a couple of weeks... the holiday cost half as much as going in August, so I can afford it, sort of (go on, you try to find a 2 week holiday for six for about a grand).
Everywhere was nice & empty, including the great beaches & the weather was pretty aces all told.

Anything exciting been happening here since the 15th May?

How early do you book Iso? We book ours in Nov & we got a 4 bed house by the beach near Bordeaux for 900 euros in August. Looking forward to it too, we love France. In fact, we love it so much we're moving there in Dec.

That's a good deal Cris. Is that just for the house, or the travel too? Our cost was for a Gite near the beach for 6-8 people for a fortnight, plus ferry travel for us & the car+roofbox including 2 overnight cabins (for six people in total) there & back. I think we did pretty well...
