eight minute tune by The Gap Band --
anybody have this //like it ??
suggesting --that as long as you have both channels working --
this can make any size and any brand of box sound pretty good
I was booming that through my 492 the other day. Sounds good. I thought I was the only one listening to the Gap Band. "humping People", "Burn Rubber on me", "Oops, upside your head", "Early in the morning", etc.... Cool Ira.
P.Funk's "Flashlight" and "Give up the funk(tear the roof off the sucker)" sounds great too on it too.
thats funny. adam--
there is probably not a boatload of members that listened to any Gap Band stuff this week !!
Well I did. Up Side Your Head, Early, Outstanding, I found My Baby and a few others!
The boys from Tulsa Oklahoma are the bomb!
...Burn Rubber On Me!....
this is amazing !!
there was just so much great stuff out in that era --so i figured their music would get lost in the crowd.
----------------------
i think "early in the morning" was a big hit on MTV --they were dressed up as THAFUZZ !!
I listened to Big Fun (my fave) All Of My Love and Outstanding. Top tunes.
Come on, people! Where's your love for the 12" version of Party Train!
You know, they sure were firing on All cylinders back then weren't they? Didn't party train have a box in their video too? I think it was shot somewhere like Venice beach or something. I'll be playing all their stuff today for sure, maybe some FatBack, Roger & Zapp too
"Party train" video. I think I counted 4-5 boxes in the video.Looks like a C100F at 4mins,32 secs into it

Spotted numerous boxes on that video, reminds me of Coney Island in the summer.

I've got a 3½ minute version of it. That's usually enough for most people on the dancefloor to get their trousers/skirts/dresses dirty:
