That is a good explaination of American Halloween...

I believe children in Holland go trick-or-treating on St. Martin's Day, November 11. Yes?
you have to buy candy that you like just in case there's left overs, I mean after all do you want to be stuck with candy you don't like??? Happy halloween everyone!!
Walkgirl... Halloween in America is deeply rooted in a historical tradition that closely follows Thanksgiving in rememberance, although with a spooky overtone. With a perspective that dates back to the time of the Pilgrims and first settlers in 'The New World.'
For a good 'Hollywood' viewpoint of how Halloween is viewed in America, watch 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' with Jonny Depp.
As for the band 'Helloween.' Horrible!
Might I suggest 'NIGHTWISH' instead?
my turn
walkgirl --halloween is the night where all the local children (thieves)
try to double back --and score a second round of junior mints
Happy Halloween Rockers!
It was another disappointing one in my neighbourhood. For 8 years in a row I've made sure theres candy for trick or treaters in the house for Halloween and 8 years in a row none have turned up. Shame... In the early 80s my friends and I used to trick or treat every Halloween and we'd always see a few others out, but over the last 20 years the tradition in Australia seems to have disappeared.
Ahh well. I'll keep making sure theres something for them in case one year the tradition gets a resurgence.
Rock On.
kangaroo's must have gotten to the kids, lol
we had almost fifty kids. i normally get under ten.
now they are blowing up pipe bombs in the park across the street.

Rock On.
Rick, my wife says to send her a Koala she likes them.
Ok, I'll include one in with the cassettes when I send them. I'll make sure I poke a few holes in the top of the box so he gets there ok.
Rock On.
nothing worse then a dead koala
this is wrong huh.....
sort of poor driving.
honest officer, the koala was going for my boombox and I had no choice but to put him down.
