While looking for boomboxes,I ran across an old pair of Pioneer CS-703 loudspeakers.Initially,I wanted to buy them but I decided not. Here are some pictures. Can someone tell me when they were produced and how they sound?
T/A guy would be the one to help you here.
I have a pair of CS-707's Basically the same speakers only updated a bit. I have had them approx 20 years now and i still love them. I dont think you will be disappointed if they are anything like the 707's.
Heres a pic of the ones I have. (sorry the pic is crappy)

Thanks for the info guys. For some reason,I really love the look of these old types of speakers.I have to admit though that with the grill covers on this pair of 703s do look a bit like front loading electric dishwashers

Man If they sound any bit as good as my cs-603's you will love them.
the built in crossovers and led level indicators are great.

I am very happy with mine though.
i got mine on ebay for 65.00 end price and sixty to ship.
I can vouch for Pioneer speakers, I've got the S910's and they still kick it to unbelievable heights.
I remember seeing these in the AAFES catalogue back in the day and debating whether to get these or the 910's.
im totally in love with those speakers i think they are also known as pioneer hpm's.

Another vet! Cool! I used to love the AFFES catalogs. And of course being overseas was like being in candyland for stereo equipment!
