I just thought I'd share this site with you guys & gals...
I recently had a DJ gig where I played only 80's and was able to fill in some back catalog tracks that I felt were missing from my immediate collection and ended up going nuts on this site.
I got really tired of choppy tracks off of Limewire. And to be totally honest, I do think that artists do deserve support.
Downloading individual tracks costs $0.10 to $0.12 each. Quality of the tracks varies from 128kbps to 320kbps. There is music on here from the typically mainstream to the extremely obscure. Eras represented ranges from the 50's to the most current, including some full 80 minute DJ mixes. This site is deserving of a look for sure.
MP3 FiestaUpdate this thread and let me know what tracks or artist you found that you consider a "missing gem" in your collection...
Enjoy!
Is this a legal site? 10 cents a song is awfully cheap compared to amazon and itunes. Looks great anyhow.
I have actually chatted with a couple of dance music artists that I know personally that have "product" up on this site and when mentioned to them they were familiar with it and had no negative comments. Therefore, I'm inclined to belive the site is legitimate. I have purchased tracks off of here and so far all appears above the board.
It does seem pretty cheap, though.
I did notice some artists do not necessarily have their most popular tracks listed... Maybe because they're not willing to let the tracks go for this price range.
I've ot had any fraudulent charges show up on my card, yet! (knocking on wood!)
