yeah those keyboards are actually pretty cool. did you see what they can do? anyway, its understandable that it would be more expensive than a regular keyboard, but apparently it reached a ridiculous price that must have been a joke, because the auction was taken down and replaced with a new one, which is currently at $1.00.

I always thought that thing was vaporware, but as it turns out after all these months, it's actually getting released into the wild...

but concerning the price, it seems more like a proof-of-concept than an actual product the guys could sell in sufficient quantities... we might be seeing this stuff as standard in a couple of years though.

right now, the only people who might be in the market for one are video and audio processing pros and musicians, BUT there are specialized keyboards for that already (with colored and silkprinted keys for Logic or Final Cut e.g.) for only a fraction of the costs...

FYI: In case any of you were curious, the final value on the relisted auction for the mother of all keyboards ended at $2750. I already deleted it from my "watching" list or I'd have included the link.

I think that pretty much beats any boombox action price I've ever heard of, upwards of $750.

Yea, for a keyboard... Ok, I'll grant you its a really cool keyboard....

But for that price it better be personally delivered by a couple of horny supermodels with a couple of days on their hands to hang out and relieve some tension.
