ok guys, just wanted to say that as you may have noticed, the number of users online since the new site was created has shot right up, i think i clocked 85 visitors today, something iv'e never seen before

Don't forget that you don't need to be a member to visit, but even so, the 'guest' count is still considerable. Right now (when most US folks are asleep) we have 19 members and 51 guests online.

Do we know if these figures mean these folks have the site open or are just online, i.e. sniffed by IP?

This is GREAT news...at least for the most part most of us are from the uk or there abouts...It's just not worth trading with anybody from the us as postage prices have rocketed sky high..

It's the actual member count, not the visitors, that has been up. Once the visitor count was up to 4000 after I uploaded about about 4000 pics because of the google crawlers, but there are more members online on an average than ever, as far ad I can remember. This is from a few days ago.

let's think positive: high figures have probably to do with bison's graffiti, deliverance's & mmcodomino's straightforwardly right answers to the Sunday quiz, traveler's magnificent Sanyos, Litfan's new m90, deech wonderful new acquisitions & forthcoming collection, Northerner's fantastic corner, stereo mad full grail collection, retro & Agent Orange constant monitoring, toocool4 excellent music, Claret Badger's always accurate judgments, Lav's Daewoo and 8614... the list is open-ended, so i'm sure not to forget anybody

Prefer to think that people are visiting here as a possible resource to learn how to find fix's for their box's and to try to sell their's to the Little group here that wont pay top dollar cause they Know Not to
