The urge to collect, the urge to progress...all boils down to how man has progressed from his caveman attitude (still a bit prevalent...) to his current form.

One man's junk is another man's gold. For all that you know Jens can sell off his tapes for 10 times the price to someone with the same interest. It is more like the 'fool' who collects Matchbox cars trying to say the 'fool' who collects wm10 walkmans and has them in his avatar (me ) is a fool....when it comes to that we all all...and thank God for that...but that doesn't give us the right to be rude to that person in his house/on his forum.

I've seen some stupid forums where such stupidity would end in a ban...but welcome to S2G...the place where you have to hunt for stupidity   and probably never find it unless you are a person who keeps re reading his own post

I think the 'Jens' being referred to is someone other than s2g's TPR (the author of the Boombox Database).

It might be one Jens Grabo who currently posts regularly on the Boomboxery Facebook page.

Unfortunately we live in a world full of haters, dealing with one on eBay right now that like to message me almost every three days about how my listings are dishonest and overpriced, just because he bought a item for $20 AS-IS, that mean I must sell mines for that to, after going thur all the work in restoring it and in some cases shooting video? Last time I check I had a 100% percent feedback and actually get what I ask for the item, otherwise I won't sell it for that price!! But some people have nothing productive to do, or contribute in anyway, but like to troll and waste time and hide.

Sorry for somewhat hijacking this thread, but point trying to get across is the same. People can buy whatever they want, for whatever the reason, whether it to collect, or resell. What does it matter to you, why would you even care, unless he shark you at buying those tapes?

For some reason actually miss those posts, as you have to spend a few minutes trying to decipher the huge jumbo of text and in the end you wish you didn't!! And in those pictures, with video, would somehow involve a Sony DD9 and yes it usually that same DD9? Shocked he didn't give it credits, or put it on the payroll? Testing one of those tapes, with a few dozen unopen tapes, with a few boomboxes line up in the background!! 

The way this is wrote, sounds like someone we know.
