Not all posts are searchable

Once again, I have encountered the search problem. I still believe that there are many, many threads that don't show up in a normal, or even an advanced search.

I recently performed a search for "audiologic." I remembered a certain thread recently that included the word "audiologic" in the subject/title and in the message portion also. I was even part of the discussion, so I knew it existed.

To my dismay, the thread didn't show up at all. I tried multiple combinations of target words from the thread and nothing worked.

I then went to my profile to view all of my posts. Finally, on page seven, I found the thread I was looking for. Sure enough, the word "audiologic" and the other word I used, "randix," were both in the subject/title.

See if you can get the thread to show in search results. The thread title you're looking for is "Looking for audiologic by randix."

METHOD 1

1. Go to FIND and type "audiologic" in the search box - click GO

2. You should only be presented with six matches, none of which will be the thread

METHOD 2

1. Go to FIND -> ADVANCED SEARCH

2. Type "audiologic" in the field labeled "with all of the words"

3. Search "Boomboxes and Parts Wanted" (the forum in which the thread is located)

4. No matches

METHOD 3

1. Go to FIND -> ADVANCED SEARCH

2. Type "audiologic" in the field labeled "with all of the words"

3. Search "All Forums"

4. AUTHOR NAME is "baddbill" (the member who started the thread)

5. No matches

Here's the link for the "ghost" thread:

.....that`s true.
I found out this strange phaenomena a long time ago.
I do not know how to fix this.
The only solution might be to store a link to intersting posts.(I do so).
