...ok, first have a look at the old link:

mission impossible

...rightyrightyright,
got some new ones...

they're: UNIVERSUM MUSICMAN JUNIOR, UNIVERSUM CITYBUMMLER, HERU WALKY III, WATSON MOD.310 (thanx again, Walkgirl!), EASY SOUND (so mint, never unpacked more before !) and a UNIMEX HPS 310, wich got headphone-jacks placed different, but is the same...

somewhere got a TEC Soundman and 3 nameless beauties more, just can't find'em right now...

there are three more other clones i got:

...as there is a STEREOSONIC SS-104, a PHILILPS SKYMASTER MK II and a SHEBRO KC 553 R with tunerpack,

and there's some more two great portable stereos that i think deserve to b mentioned here:

...they're an ULTRASOUND DISCOSOUND 3000 with RECORDING, counter, line out etc., very good recording-sound, and finally a TELEFUNKEN CFM-3, full metal housing and 3 fm-presets...

hope u guys like the pics...

Good grief, those designs just keep following you round the room eh?

I'm warming to these fugsters. All body panels unscrew from a single steel chassis on these Westman clones, rediculously over-engineered considering the price.

...and with some good headphones they do have a great sound, besides laaaank volume !

Universum is 'Mus Revinu' backwards. Mus Revinu must mean 'too much cash' is some language.

Add Parasound Companion to the first list of clones. By the quality, I thought it were as nice as the Infinity portable, but I looked up Parasound and found they were way too recent a hi-fi company. In any case, it's pretty compact, yet seems indestructable. The sound is acceptable, and most Sony products were flimsier within a few years. If I were a kid in '80, I doubt I could have wanted more.
