My Sony WM-2 serial: 15316 - This is first series?

That's a very low number my earliest WM-2's serial number is 76726 this is the FWD button WALKMAN not the WALKMAN II all the rest of mine have 6 numbers.

Wm-2 and Walkman II, is not the same?

They are all WM-2's the early ones just say WALKMAN on the front the later one's say WALKMAN II.

Hi NGA, I like this Aiwa, I have it in silver, Red and Dark grey, they sound quite good.

Hey NGA, very nice newer additions to your increadable collection. I have the Technics SL-XP7 in silver with battery case also. Was lucky have the orig. A/C mains adapter the part number is SH-CDA3U with unique plug. My player sounds excellent. I checked thepartstore they no longer have A/C adapter but you should be able to replace rechargeable batterys with five 1.2 rechargble AA and wire in yourself. www.thepartstore.com lists the battery available but you have to buy 2 five packs would be close to $100 steep for battery's. Here is picture of mine opened showing starting to corrode battery packs. Lucky I caught in time.

I just got mine in the mail today. This machine has some great sound for it's size. I'm very impressed. I think it actually sounds better than my JVC PC-70JW which is a little bigger. You have a great collection NGA. I've been wanting to put mine on here to but I'm not satisfied with the way my camera takes the pictures. It's a Sony Cybershot and it's not very good at taking close-ups, unless I just need to find that setting.
