This is my latest. Excellent performance. Nice appearance. Purchased in Melbourne. Anyone got one? <a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i28.tinypic.com/vsl53b.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>
Nice!-I haven't been able find any Toshibas on the Gold Coast.
yeah, that Tosh rocks ! congrats !
Yep, new one on me too. Great grab.
If you find one DON'T touch the ff or Reverse buttons! Disaster awaits if you do!
that looks like the one i saw on ebay. i thought it was really cool also. what turned me off were those types of ff, and rev., on toshibas they are the killer. all that's left is an oversized radio. i mean i have had 0% luck with those things.
Fix alot of those Toshibas all have the same problem gear pop out or reel pop out to fix just pop it back you should hear a click, then it wont pop back out come loose after time also relube all gear and change the belt. Rather deal with the Toshiba then the Sony "Click gear of death" can't find this part anywhere anyone know the part number or place where they sell that gear.
Who ever thought that depressing the spools was a good way to control FF/RW wants shooting. Never seen one that still works.
Mind you, the early Panasonic 'Way' series is one possible exception sadly tainted by Toshiba's incendiary device.
I have a very nice Toshiba KT-V670 which uses the spools for the fast forward and rewind, I use it on a regular basis with no trouble.
aaah, cool, it's one of those !!!
they made several ones with this mechanism, i personally have ~ 8 different ones - soundwise they're honestly TOPRANK, even if some of'em are plastic deluxe...
