This is my new favourite walkman. It's an Aiwa HS-PX303 and she's a real beauty! I have to tell you that I know nothing about it except that it looks really cool to me. I have not been able to fully test it so I cannot really comment on the sound, but from what I've heard so far, it sound nothing short of amazing! It has an parametric dsl system, auto reverse and remote control (which I didn't get). And the head is HX amorphous and it looks crazy - I haven't seen anything quite like it before. Dolby-c is a given of course and the case is all metal - no plastic here like on all my Panasonics. If someone has a manual or anything that could help me find out more, please let me know.
It has that vintage straight-lines and sharp look of the 80s that i absolutely love but has more modern features like auto reverse and remote control. I don't know when it was manufactured but I have never seen it anywhere, on ebay or elsewhere. It probably came between HS-PX101 (Walkgirl has one and I absolutely love it) and HS-PX505 which look much more modern as it is curved and adds BBE system to the package.
