Already got one of these in black been looking for other colours for a while found a very nice red one almost looks new, I would say little or no use just needed a new belt.

What a lucky guy. Both colors and RED such a great looking player. Toshiba and Panasonic my two favorite brands. Yours looks in spectacular shape. How is sound with new belt, what would you compare it too?

John, thanks for your comments these are both beautiful players from 85/86 so about 25 years old but they both look like they were made yesterday not a blemish. I agree the red one is just fantastic especially with it's original case.I bought the black from Ebay USA about 18 months ago and the red one from Ebay UK a week ago, in the past 3 years these are the only 2 I've seen.
Don't know if there are other colours maybe in Japan where it is the KT-PS9 Walky, I have searched online for info for either model and never found any, so I don't have any specs. Sound wise I would put thsese on a par with any of my DD's,they are very loud and do not distort at full volume,amazingly if you do the shake test on these it has no effect, a very powerful motor and high quality mechanism all polished metal with all brass pulleys the capstans are massive. With the new belt fitted the Red is now as good as the black one that was my last belt of that size.

don't ya just love those players with that belt arrangement. actually common and they seem to work well...they should last a long long time.
