Sony best Minidisc made to date. Sounds better then the MZ-M200, even though they look the same and fuction the same way, bass is very clean no distortion let pretty deep, not like other recorders where they decrease the bass level as volume goes up. Shock it sound so good, amp only put out 5mw-5mw 16 ohms, but bass sound deep, just doesn't go up very high, but goes up to a reasonable volume and does a good job, even though it lack the power. Headphone jack in menu can be switch to lineout mode, going to use my ibasso external headphone amp with it.

Hey Doc, now that is a totally AWESOME technical marval! With your Ibasso headamp should be a sonic wonder. Lucky you have the best of best to truly hear all that ones ears can.
Of note it seems sad that so many of the later walkmans and most MD players the low 5 or 6 mW output reduces the true sonic ability of these units. Better to over power it some so if you have headroom in amp to cover bass draw of power and keep freq. response clean at both ends. Oh for the days of first walkmans with 50-60 mW output.

That one thing I like about this guy, has a true 2.2 volt lineout, just have to enable it from the menu, that pretty much bypasses the amp and turns it to a preamp out, no hiss from the headphone amp at all, amp does 120mW. better then the iphone or ipod which sounds dull in comparison.
