So here is my latest purchase. It is a really nice unit. I don't think it was ever used. It comes boxed with all accesorise including stereo mic which i forgot to include in my pictures. I have never seen this model before, i am not sure if it was ever sold in europe. The sound from this unit is very good indeed. Also, it has a quality feel to it. It is packed full of features. Another one for my collection.

Nice looking unit. Interesting that it uses the round std. battery shape for Aiwa. Like the bright colored box too.

Yes indeed. It solves the annoying problem of trying to source gum stick battery's.

Or should i say batteries. As i have said, i've never seen this unit before. And i didn't pay a whole lot for it. A nice bargain indeed.

i don't have that player but i do have all the parts and accessories that go swith the jx 899. i have only seen one on here . it was originally purchased at duddy's electric for 173.00 with the tax included. the players look alot different though. 40 hr. battery life it says.
