those missing plastic slides on the tps-l2 and the wm-3

i am trying to reattach the blue plastic clip on a very nice tps-l2. it seems one has to remove that thick pliable plastic on the inside of the door. inside is a light piece of metal and also a weak spring which clips over the protrusion on the slide. it seems that i need just enough epoxy to attach that spring and then it must be the quick drying type to avoid a mess. i don't think it is neccesary to replace the plastic on the inner door as long as the glue holds the metal piece and spring very tightly. has anybody out there ever replaced one of these hinges and have it come out nice, clean and functional. this is the worst on the wm-3 but also is a lesser problem on the tps-l2 for some reason. i know there are alot of swinging battery boxes out there because of the way they were designed. mabey up to 50 % are in this condition. lets get some of these things fixed.
thanks much, that's better. basically does anyone out there know the proper way to reattach the little clip that open and closes the battery box. i have all the parts and before i mess it up twice what is the best quick dry epoxy to keep the spring in place and the battery box functioning as it was designed. i know the wm-3 is more of a problem but i have a beautiful tps-l2 with the same problem. i have figured out a way to replace the plastic on the inside door after i'm done. that is use the 2 sided tape to take up the space but don't peel off the the outside or it will stick to the pcb. anybody out there with some good suggestions or has managed to do a nice clean job on one of these models. i don't recall anyone putting up a forum to tackle this problem of which most collectors will probably run into.
