David, you have amassed a most excellent collection of 80's walkman in a very short period of time. Wonderful well preserved examples too. I am sure I speak for many on the forum we greatly appreaciate your young blood and collecting enthusiasm shared with us all.

The problem with the WM-7 is that the playback has too much wow and flutter. I replaced the belt on the one that works well a while ago but now it's acting up too. Maybe I used the wrong belt. The sound quality is also better on the one that doesn't have the manual. Perhaps it's just a matter of adjustments.
