That is more like a sports walkman
Great find David, I have the Grey version which until now is only color have seen. Definitely not a sport walkman, just a great color on that player.. a classic. How does it sound. Mine needs a belt so dont know about its sound. Much better looking in color , lucky man.
Indeed, this model is very rare. The only other example I've seen is the picture on the Walkman homepage of Pocketcalculatorshow.com, which is, obviously, an advertisement.
http://www.pocketcalculatorshow.com/walkman/Unfortunately mine also needs a belt, but I'll get to that soon enough. I also have a grey version of this walkman but mine is missing the little black panel covering the Play, Stop, Reverse, and FFWD/RWD switches; but both promise to work once they get a new belt, well made. And I love the high quality metal body (except for the cassette door). I do have a HS-T02 which sounds pretty good so I'm guessing this model would sound either as good or better since this model is a little older. I wonder how many colors they had for this model?
Absolutely Beauuuiful. Never seen one this colour before.
i,m with walkgirl,,,looks like a sports model. i got carried away with the yellow ones for a while but finally broke away.
