Yes they came in EASTER EGG COLORS... seems color was the best aspect of these. The MGP early series late 84 and 85 were very basic all plastic budget priced models ranging from $15 to $40 for the MGP-9 to MGP-30. The MGP-33 and 44 (EQ) had some better features including dolby B costing closer to $70 to $90 approx. Have not played mine in long time so cant comment on sound quality but both my MGP-9 and MGP-33 do work as I recall.
