Greetings all. Here is a lovely unit i purchased recently. It is a wm-ex2hg. I believe they are a very rare unit, and not many were made. Similar to the ex1, only smaller with a smoother action on the door eject.
I couldnt believe my luck with this one. I was searching on ebay Germany when i seen it. It had only just been listed by a guy who had never bought or sold on ebay before. There was a buy it now price of 30 euro on it. I tell you, i couldn't hit that buy it now button quick enough. Postage was really cheap. Boxed with all accessorise and almost mint. An absolute bargain i reckon.
I know. I couldn't believe the price. Most of the units i have purchased have cost me top dollar. I just got lucky with this one. The HG models are beautifully finished. Very happy with this one. A WM-EX1HG is next on my wish list.

Yes you was very lucky indeed as i bought one last year for £40 with boxed and everything. Just a slight ding on the unit but other than that, it is mint. Not my favourite walkman though as i find these are not loud enough.
Also i bought last year an EX1HG which cost me £40 also with box but had to pick it up in London which was ok to me as i live there.
My mother-in-law has the EX808HG with box (stole it from me) only joking and got that for £30 but had to replace the belt.
And i have the 701S so that add up to a nice chrome collection.

I love aiwas. But these hg models are pretty cool. I don't know of any other chrome models, but maybe there are.
