Found these last weekend. They're all in fairly good shape. Aiwa JX749, Teac PP-32, Toshiba KT-S1, Sony TCM-111. I know, the sony is not technically a walkman but it was in fair shape, for something this old, and it came free with the Maxell UD C90 cassette! I love these old cassettes.
Now I know why walkgirl kept her new Toshiba KT-S1 a secret, these things are nice. Very nice design & solid construction.
Here it is comparing it to a cheaper Toshiba KT-S3MK II. I don't actually know which model came first?
Nice finds, milosancho!
Waiting for the same toshiba from Colorado, US
I like your sony also, what is the model?
Congratulations!
Thank you gedcom. The Sony is model TCM-111, it is actually a cassette corder with a speaker in back and built in pop-up mic. So it is not technically a walkman but more of a voice recorder. Still nice though.
I'm not actually a big fan of recording walkmans as I don't really see the need to record a cassette on the go. If you wanted to record a quality cassette you would use your home cassette unit for that as I don't find walkmans come close in recording quality.
I never did see thos topic!
The toshiba is fantastic!, I have one and I love
it really much allthough I never did use it because
it is still new in the box

Nice Milo, I'm really digging that Toshiba though.
