Great looking Sanyos!

The Sanyo JJ mechanism has to be the smallest around. It's worth mentioning that the gumstick battery actually inserts into this unit & isn't housed withing an auxilery housing as per Sony & Aiwa units of the same time.

Might be time for another 'smallest unit ever' contest.

Those are really cool looking walkmans and looks like they are loaded with features.

there's 'clones' of that mechanism around, was sold by Kenwood and Grundig...

Flimsy construction & microscopic parts but unbelievable reliability.
