Thank you Isolator42 , I think the best part of
the walkman is the inside of the tape door, the
little swuares and the red trim, in real it
does look even better!, the rest of the walkman
is all metal!!

I love the big HITACHI logo in the cassette door, a sweet Walkman and fantastic, looks very strong and heavy for its size. A real must have!

It does take 2 aa batteries!

It is a very nice walkman

These compact walkmans that take AA or AAA batteries are the best.

My preferences are about the AA batteries, because is a little more long-running time than AAA.

Question:

Do you know for some Walkmans using 9-volt batteries? (the square ones)

I do not know the 9 volt walkmans

That would be interesting, a 9v walkman. I don't know of any except for mini cassette recorders.
