Very nice collection renzgi, they all look amazing.

philmurray - 2008-10-11 12:51

WOW!! what an awesome collection. i only have one walkman that still has its box. makes mine look tiny HAHAHAHA. very cool mate

milosancho - 2008-10-11 21:26

Oh man! Those are some nice boxed units you have there. When I see these type of collections I have to wonder - is it luck - is it dedication or is it a very generous walkman budget allowance? Smile Whichever the case, it is indeed a nice collection.

rerooted - 2008-10-11 22:59

let me ask +++++ what direction does your collection take you to in the future ? i mean having these what would you now want the most ? beautiful collection. other than the wm-d3's what others did you have to deal with that had the click, click problems ?

ao - 2008-10-12 01:12

Good grief! This is something else. You've certainly stuck to the ones you like. Just look at those lovely boxed Boodos.

I've been after a boxed F5 for years, very jealous of this one but the units which really take some beating are the boxed DDs, these just don't exist any more & you've got DDs, IIs, & Quartz versions in boxes, superb!!!

Would I be right in saying that you only collect the iconic Sony models?

Where did you find all these, how long have you been collecting & if you don't mind me asking which was your most expensive purchase?

renzgi - 2008-10-12 06:02

Thanks for the many nice reactions. Smile

Sorry for my bad englisch! Red Face

I have for three years daily on Ebay.com & Ebay.de checked. Eek
Most highly I paid that brand-new boxed Boodokhan. Leaving
The normal DD-Walkmans often to have for a small price.
Also these with box..Because nearly always defective!(...klack...klack..) Big Grin

Here still more pictures from my mini-museum.

Bloody hell, that's some collection - I'm sure you're very proud.
You might just have single-handedly made the Boodo-Khan rare for the rest of the world...

Do you have a source for replacement cog-wheels to cure the dreaded click-of-death issue?

Many thanks dear people Laugh Out Loud

The collection becomes singular, because I may show it here. Nod Yes
Collect without friends make no sense and fun. I Agree

I think, the DD-100 Boodo Khan is not rare but desirably. Therefore the high price in the trade.
The WM-40 is really rare! Roll Eyes

I repair the gear wheels simply. Cool
It has times descriptive here on S2G.
