Hi,

I will give you a lot of money !!!!!
PM me, Whats a lot of money? Which WM-5 I have Silver and Black. I assume the UTLRA rare Black with Orig. headphones MDR-30 Foam excellent, owner manual, carry case, AND Sony Demonstration Tape. player in near perfect cosmetic condition ? Many pictures of it under my post My Sony Collection johnedward As of my knowledge only one member has a Black WM-5 other than me.
i dont know, what are you think ???
I am very interrest for one of your WM-5
71 -72 roadrunner ?
This pile looks like mine when I started collecting. I used to buy anything which looked 'retro' but as my knowledge grew I focussed on obtaining the units I had a passion for. You'll do the same JohnEdward. I too have a pile of those Toshiba K1s.
72?
OH MY AGENTORANGE and weelanddeal you both win the booby prize She is a 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner 340 4 speed pistol grip. Scary men can have such multiple passions and knowledge. Hat off to you gentleman. It is also a passion hobby for me thankfully this one is FAR cheaper and the thrill of optaining a new item with this hobby is far more often WooHoo.
BTW 71/72 are only two years to share this front fender/frt rear bumper look. Only Grill/rear tail lights change for 72. For you GEAR HEADS check out my sons and my car picture site.

AGENTORANGE you are right at first I bought almost anything that played a cassette. I have learned so much in a short time. Still feeling my way toward what areas my true passion is. For now it seems the 1st 3 years especially now the more rare off brands like KLH, Cybernet etc. No interest in the mid/late 80's plastic rounded fat made for masses with often silly features ( no offense meant to those that love them we all are thankful for all of us that collect and save all of this era). I must admit a strong passion grown from my joy to use my walkmans daily for the 90's and last high tech models especially the Panasonic RQ-S series a few of these have frequency response of 15-20,000 a true acomplishment. I know many of the purest collectors snub the last decade of high tech but someone should save them too. BTW listening right now to my Sony WM-615 the kewl blue Walkman new symbol for control layout with Koss PortaPros.
For now Sony, Akai, Toshiba and Panasonic seem my focus.
AGENTORANGE you should know that the odd GREEN SANYO late model BENETTON FORMULA I racing model you own has me green with envy. As I have a Akai Benetton model these oddity custom for marketing promotions I find fun and unique.
i could not see the grille very well in the pic to say it was a 71 for sure thats why i put 71 --72 nice car

Nice Plymouth! I love the pictures! I'm a lover of chrysler/plymouth/dodge cars.
MOPAR OR NO CAR !!!
i never had one but i liked the last 1960's chevy 2 which was pretty well stripped down from the factory. the 327--350 HP made it what it was. you could really feel the g-forse when accelerating. it had power like the old aiwas had color. it was not something you would want to drive after a couple of beers.

Quite an outstanding collection! Thanks for sharing the pics and details.
Thank you all for your motivating comments. Shortly will be posting all models by mfg. in topic with close up detailed pictures. Starting with Toshiba and Akai. Just arrived today a WM-75 from England will try to get pictures this weekend and add to this topic.
John, carry on, bro !
you have a nice collection indeed !
at least you're not just stuck to all those Sony-bla-models - of course they made good and nice ones, but just them inventing the name 'Walkman' doesn't make their products the only collectible ones...
