Got a very nice Sony Walkman today-a WM-FX511 from 1995 that has auto reverse.

These are good little workhorse's. Yours is very close to my WM-EX550 which has the identical flip open battery door on top. Nice find.

The WM-FX511 is based on the WM-FX613/WM-FX615.

The main difference between the FX613/615 and the FX511 is that the WM-FX613/WM-FX615 uses a NC-6WM rechargable battery and a battery case for use with a AA battery, while the WM-FX511 uses a AA battery.
