Heya
My good ol' pops mentioned he had this walkman stored away somewhere. I took a few pics of it and ét violá!
Havent really tried it out or anything. Can someone perhaps tell me a story? What is it?
Huh! The first walkman ever made? I'm impressed how modern it yet looks. I guess it's definately a keeper!
The Sony TPS-L2 was the first portable stereo marketed as a 'Walkman'.
Not entirely true Kristi - Walkman's weren't disscontinued, in fact, they still make them. The MP3 didn't actually 'take over', it's a different tool. Fads change, the popularity of the portable CD player brought about the demise of the Walkman if the truth be known.
SONY still continue building some cassette Walkmans? Incredible, Long time ago I did'nt see any new SONY cassette walkman in department stores or in electronic stores.... In fact, I'm always ask myself what model be the "last" cassette walkman from SONY....
