I think 3 counts as a 'collection' so heres what I've managed to get over the last couple of months.
I'm not going to seriously collect walkmans, but theres a few models I'll pay collectors-prices for. These I've picked up more as little bargains along the way when no ghettoblasters have been around to buy. Condition on them all is really nice, the WM-F28 has been especially well cared for. Hardly an indication of button wear and scratches it, but the WM-F31 is extra nice because I got it.....
Mint in box!
I think it was played a couple of times, and the headphone foams have disintegrated but it's a really nice specimen, even if the box is a bit tatty.
I'm keeping an eye out for others, but not holding out much hope for getting my grail-man cheap. Still, always on the look for other potential members of the collection. They're still a lot of fun to play tapes on and the portability works out great for when I can't be arsed carrying a ghettoblaster.
Rock On.
A great start. Some nice iconic mid-eighties units there.
Round my way, everyone had the WM22 first of all, & then everyone had the WM33 like your red one in the middle.
An EQ was a must-have feature, I guess...
